Watershed Structure and Pond Maintenance:

 

Structural Repairs and Upgrades: The project addressed existing issues with watershed structures by repairing and upgrading them to improve water catchment and storage capacity.

 

Pond Rejuvenation Efforts: Activities included de-silting of ponds, strengthening of embankments, and construction of additional water storage facilities to enhance the functionality of the ponds.

 

 

Information Educational & Communication Materials: The project distributed pamphlets & leaflet, did wall paintings that provided information on water conservation techniques, the benefits of maintaining watershed structures, and the methods for pond restoration.

Demonstration Projects: Practical demonstrations on pond cleaning, sediment removal, and construction of water harvesting structures were conducted to show effective techniques and encourage community participation.
